Cameron's Coming Home!

Pictured here with his buddy and teammate from Sweden "Figgy" at Christmas time! Hamming it up as always!!!! Dorks!
So, Cameron's trek home started a week ago today...after a long, hard hockey season in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, playing for the Edmonton Oil Kings, he headed back to the USA! His Canadian family, Wes, Lee-Ann, and Katie Mucha, woke up to see him off at 5:00 a.m., as he headed to back to California via his dad's home in Seattle, Washington. Truck packed and warmed up, he headed west...well, then he realized he left his hockey bag back in the Muchas' car...turn around, back to the Muchas' house! Then it was on the road again.
It was the perfect sunny day for him to head through the Canadian Rockies. Along the way he ran over a squirrel. Obviously getting ran over by a Ford F250 4X4 is gonna' do some damage to the carcas! Then a crazy duck decided to dive bomb him! Okay, that wasn't a pretty sight. He said he had to pull over to let get the body out of his tires because it was like, "thump, thump, thump." Okay, back on the road...then he had to swerve to avoid the dead fox in the road. He missed the moose on the side of the road and no bear sightings like we had on the trip up there! Oh, Cameron, you ain't in California anymore!
He arrived safely in Seattle to his dad's open arms! Of course, he was hoping his dad's open wallet since it cost him over 400 bucks in gas to get that far. He spent a few days in Seattle, headed for a few days down to Portland to visit Kurtis Mucha and the ladies he lived with when he lived in Portland. Saw Meghan and her family...now he's headed back to Cali!!!! I can't wait to have him home again! He left at 5:00 a.m., and I can't wait to hear about the adventure tonight! My baby boy's coming home!
