"Seeds don't work so hard."

Wow! We have had one of the most incredible, life-changing weekends of our lives! John and I were able to attend a service last night, thanks to Micah, where Kevin Prosch lead worship and Heidi Baker spoke. Wow! The incredible worship just was beyond this world! It reached a whole other dimension and was just such a healing opportunity for me personally. Then came time for the message. There are things the ordinary Christian wouldn't understand, but God allowed John and I to be there and experience something we've missed for a long time! Heidi spoke on Ezekial 47 and the River of God and the Healing Waters and gave such a visual message on jumping into the River and letting go instead of "slogging" around stirring up the muck and mire. She explained how when we're in the water and we just let go and relax that we can float and we'll be weightless. She explained that stepping into His kingdom is just as easy if you're totally emersed. You can't float in water that is ankle deep. You can't float in water that is knee deep. You have to be fully emersed in the water!

It seems like such an easy thing to do, yet we in our normal lives just don't do it. We hold onto weights and busy ourselves in things that weigh us down, instead of just letting the Lord handle it for us. Heidi asked the question, "Do you want to be somebody or become like Him?" Wow! Smack me upside the head! How simple it is...how complex we make it!

Fruit will come because the seeds are planted on the banks of the river. Only the water can nourish the plants, the "seeds don't work so hard." The seeds don't need to get the water, it will come through the rains and the river. The seeds will flourish and be fruitful and have an abundance. We need to fix our eyes on the prize and don't work so hard.

Wow!
