Day 4 took us from Branson, Missouri, to Eureka Springs, Arkansas, in the Ozark Mountains. We saw the most incredible Passion Play at this outdoor theatre nestled in the woods. There were live donkeys, sheep, horses, camels, and the Passion Play ended with Jesus ascending up into the heavens and disappeared into the trees. It was breath-taking! I sat and sobbed at the portrayal of Christ's crucifixon for the sake of me! The role of the slithering demons reminded me how satan is constantly seeking to destroy us; however, because of Christ's sacrifice, we too will join Him in Heaven some day soon. Also the Christ of the Ozark statue was an incredible sight!
